Linda K. Brown

Linda “Fluff” K. Brown, age 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 with her family by her side.
Linda was born May 11, 1949 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Ralph and Mary Ann (Meirose) Trople. She was a 1967 graduate of New Underwood High School. Linda married in 1967 and was later blessed with two kids, Karina (Robertson) Wolken and Tom Robertson. Linda worked in the bar business until 1989 and then graduated from Western Dakota Tech in 1990 with her daughter. After graduation, she accepted a job at the school of mines where she worked for another 10 years. Following that, she retired. She married the love of her life, Ron Brown, on May 26, 1990. Not long after, she was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren. Linda’s favorite things to do were spend time with her family, cook, bake, make crafts and puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Brown; a sister, Phyllis (Lynn) Gossard; a brother, Tom (Jenny) Trople; her daughter, Karina (Kurt) Wolken; her son, Tom Robertson; and her grandchildren, Amanda (Colton) Sheets, Brooke (Nick) Murtagh, Bradey Wolken and Ty Robertson, and a future great-grand baby.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ralph and Mary Ann Trople.
Linda’s family and friends will be hosting a potluck “Celebration of Life” on Sunday, March 22nd at 4pm at the Eagles Club on Centre Street in Rapid City.
