The shells of these two new grain bins will eventually be connected by a leg reaching 203 feet up, which will feed the bins with product unloaded from grain trucks. The two bins will also be connected to the pre-existing structures by an overhead conveyor system so their grain can be loaded into train cars.

Midwest’s Phase 1 makes new skyline

The continueing Cenex Harvest States projects being done as modernizations and improvements to the Midwest Cooperative complex in Philip have reached another visible milestone. Phase I of the new grain bin project has the outside shells of the two new bins up.
