Lumeda Huber

Lumeda (Hibner) Huber was born on July 6, 1944 in Lemmon, South Dakota to Duane and June (Hylland) Hibner. She was the second child of four.
Memorial services were held in New Castle, Wyoming, July 14th.
Lumeda grew up on a ranch outside of Bison, South Dakota. Attended several country schools, until finally going to school in Bison where she met her future husband Raymond, on December 26, 1961 she married the love of her life whom she was with until his death earlier this year.
After her marriage she set about raising a family, moved around a bit, towns including Lemmon, Sturgis, Newcastle and finally settling in Custer Highlands. She did babysitting while her children were young, worked at Safeway for many years along with several other jobs.Lumeda Rae Huber was killed while driving home from Newcastle on June 27, 2018. She was 73 years young.
She is survived by her children Roger (Bernadine) Huber of Edgemont, SD; Richard (Eilene) Huber, Newcastle, WY; Rodney (Wendy) Huber, Pringle, SD; Ronda Huber, Gillette, WY and Randall Huber, Custer Highlands, SD. 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren. 1 sister Geraldine (John) Peck of Bison, SD, and numerous brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.
She is preceeded in death by her parents Duane and June,husband Raymond, grandson Tyler, brothers Dewey and Bill, two brothers in law Lyle and Ervin and three nephews little Lyle, Michael and Donny.
