Clinton Clark Alleman was born on December 13, 1942 in Pierre, SD to Clinton William and Sybil (Pender) Alleman. He lived his lifetime on the family ranch doing the work he loved. Clark attended country grade school and graduated from Fort Pierre. He married Carmen Roseth on June 15, 1968 and they continued to live on the family ranch until the time of his death.
Clark was always ready for a good card game and enjoyed watching any sport on TV that involved a ball. Deer season was a highlight of his year which spanned for over 40 years with the same group of close friends. Clark’s other enjoyment was spending time with his family and watching his grandkids grow.
He was a member of Deep Creek Lutheran Church, 4-Corners Fire Department, a past director of South Dakota Stockgrowers, 4-H Leader and Haakon County Extension Board.
Those left to mourn his passing, include his wife Carmen of 50 years; his children Clinton (Laura) Alleman and Kelly (Anthony) Nelson; three grandchildren Morgan Nelson, Alivya and William Alleman, along with sisters Phyllis (Ben) Stoeser, Barb (Mike) Oros, and numerous nephews, nieces and close friends.
Clark was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Jeannette Alleman Benson, her husband Laurel, and a nephew BJ Stoeser.
Memorial contributions can be directed to Deep Creek Lutheran Church or Avera St. Mary’s Foundation Dialysis Fund.
Quoting a message left to Carmen; Clark was a man of wisdom, courage, vision, and integrity. He loved his family, his ranch, and his community.
